MY LIFE IN TP
These 3 years in Temasek Polytechnic has been a great impact to my life. I have enrolled into Business process and system Engineering course of Engineering school by the score of 18 points for my “o” level.
The first year in my polytechnic was not a smooth beginning for me. Even before I have enrolled into Temasek polytechnic, I have many friends who were already studying in it. I met up my friends during my break time and I have totally neglected my classmates and spent little time with them. In addition, my bad habit of late coming to lectures and tutorials had affected my result badly. Thus, it greatly affected my relationship with my classmates as they started to drift away from me as they see me as someone who is difficult to get along with. Deep inside my heart, I know that I must do something to improve this relationship. To change their thinking of me, I have to first change my attitude. I kicked off the bad habit of late coming and started attending lessons on time. This change has motivated me to study to get better result for my studies. As people see a change in me, they become my friends and helped me in my studies. I am so glad to have good friends around me who supported and taught me patiently through the examination periods. In the second year, my GPA has increased tremendously! And i really mean alot, 0.4 more!
Polytechnics are famous for projects. Through these few years, I have been grouped as a team to work for projects. During discussions, we are bound to have some conflicts due to different methods of doing things or even misunderstandings. And I guess one very good way to resolve it is to listen to people’s ideas first, respect them before even arguing for your point. Compromise and accommodate is the key.
During the first semester of my third year, I have been attached to Amtek Precision Engineering Co Ltd Shanghai for my Oversea Student Intern Program. My purpose to go there was to do my major project on Amtek. My team mate, Jasmine and I passed through the ups and down moments together. In the beginning, we experienced difficulties in adjusting to the environment at ‘Amtek Shanghai and had the tendency to shy away from my colleagues. As the days passed by, we managed to adapt to the new environment and relationships between my colleagues and I improved. We encountered difficulties as we were new toward their company’s computer systems and made plenty of mistakes, which brought about inconvenience to the staffs there. While doing MP, we have difficult time planning what to do. We have tried a few methods before using the right one. Our project has successfully improved Amtek’s welding process and has saved the cost up to RMB$92, 572.
From the training program, I was trained to be flexible and react to situations quickly. I have also acquired how to handle pressures through the tasks given and the deadlines to meet by my supervisor and in turn, helped me to prepare myself for the working life after my graduation. I have been attached for both my OSIP and MP; I need to juggle my time between both of these. This helps me to have better time management and to adapt to the stressful and competitive society. Overall, it is a pleasant and meaningful trip for me.
In conclusion, throughout my 3 years in Temasek Polytechnic, I have picked up some important points:
1.Knowledge is power.
2.Knowledge is money.
3.Never give up attitude
Upon getting my diploma, I plan to further continue with my studies and acquire a degree. I realized the importance of having a ‘keep on learning’ attitude so as to achieve the highest potential in life. With knowledge, you can win people. People will listen and respect you. And people are an important resource. In this competitive society, u must have educational certificate to survive in this high economy country.
Besides that, the most precious experience that I had gained is that there is always a second chance in life. So do not give up whenever things are not going smoothly or you feel that you have messed up in some periods of your life. It is because of me not giving up and that is why I am where I am today.

Jin Jiang Theme Park
4 oct 2007, we went to Jin Jiang Le Yuan and spent RMB$70 for 6 rides. We had the spinning coaster for our 1st ride after queuing for 1 hr and 20 mins. And the ride was less than 1 min ride. It's not only fast, it's wasnt very fun to play.
We manage to take a pic of us while waiting for the next turn for our ride. ^^
Our 2nd ride was the Log Flame!! We took 2 and a half hour queuing for the ride. While waiting for our turn to take the ride, the 4 of us took turn to take pic ard the theme park. Jas and me are in 1 group, HuiQin and felicia another. Some cam whoring sessions below:

Finally!! It's reaching our turn for the LOG FLAME! weird name huh? lol.. But who cares. We guessed one of the reason why are we queuing for almost 3 hrs is becuz many pple wanted to cut queue. During our queuing up, there 3 grps of pple who wanted to cut in front of uS! And all the best to them becuz they have unluckily met pple like Us!
The 1st group is a family of 3. They gan gan just stepped into the queue which was just in front of us lor. Then i said to them :" excuse me! i am standing just behnd this girl! The queue is way behind. Can u queue up? " Then the couple kept quiet and queued behind us. And i continued by saying :" Do u noe it is very unfair to those who queue for a long time?" They remained quiet and cted as if nth happened. Thus, i also did not care alot becuz i had alrdy said what i have to say.
2nd grp is one guy followed by his girl friend and slowly their 2 or 3 friends join in....STUPID...it's obvious that they are cutting queue cos they are already forming another line, they are not in the queue! we expose the girls..and that idiot guy still act blur and laugh looking at us la...his laughter is like those ha-ha-ha-ha~ heee...those kind...thinking we did not see him if not we will let him off! HA-HA-HA! he's real wrong! we said to him 'eh u also...cut queue one..still stand there..the queue is at the back...don think that we didnt see you!' and so he no choice and have to walk away...hahahaha...
the fourth one is a couple....bastard....he brought his gf into the queue and wanted to cut in front of the girl who is in front of us...This time the 4 of Us were super pissed of by all these pple! we said to the guy:" eh the queue is at the back, don cut queue hor....we queue for so many hours and let you all cut queue ar? think of yourselves only...." the four of us add in here and there to bombard him! wahaha...Then he's unhappy and replied us by saying, "what...who say i'm cutting queue? i'm just only standing here!' so felicia was smart enough to reply him, "OK LOR THEN YOU STAND HERE aR AND DON'T MOVE!" Then i also added in " Ya! i dun want to see u move hoR! wahaha... his blood boil cos we made him xia suay!!! wahaha...and he still dare to rebuke back, "how how...what can you all do to me...i just wants to move, what can you all do to me?!" while rebucking back he moved nearer to us.... Then i said:" Do put urself in other pple's shoes and think abt it la!" Then he kept quiet and queued behind the 1st grp of cut queueR! but in the end we keep looking at him...and he went off boiled till the blood gg to dry already! HAHAHAHA....ROFL....we saw his tickets left with the last ride...and we were thinking, his previous 5 rides are all completed by cutting queue! idiotic bastard! still wants to beat us....! @#$%&
I got super pissed off by the pple here! Super inconsiderate and unreasonable. But We will not give any chance for their actionS. Say bye bye to all the Cut queueRsSs~ BoOoo~

The 4th Ride was the roller coaster! This roller coaster is diff from what we usually took before. It has 1 loop and like usual roller coaster, it went up But down from the back! I think this is the most exciting ride in Jin Jiang Le Yuan. Others are no kick to me. LOL
See... Super long queue lor.. no kidding.. BTW, if u see carefully, u will find us in the queue. =)

5th ride: the italy roller coaster. It wasnt fun at all lor.. It's like for those small lil kids. yAwn~

This ride is basically enjoying the breeze. Just feel as if u have wings and are flying in the air. haha. wEeEeee~
After the last ride, i wanted to sit the huge ferry wheel. But the other 3 dont really want. Thus, HuiQin came ou with an idea; Open Number. Alrite, it starts by every1 came out with 1 number. Then added up all the number and get the total. Our total was 14. And when Huiqin counted 14, it was Jasmine and she symbolise "Dont Sit". So saD! i dun get to sit the Ferry wheel! =~

Ytd, 28th sep 2007, was HuiQin aka Bobo's shitty day! She almost stepped a pile of shit while walking on the road. She didnt stepped on it, but she kicked a small part of the top of the shit. And the shit went "WeeEEee~" it flew and landed on the floor further away from us! So the front of her shoe kanna some shit. Super Funny!! *WahahA~ Next time must remember to look at the floor too while walking on the road. LOL* And it's her 1st day of her 19th years old! i Guess is a Gift from Heaven to her. *Jeering*

It was Ong Hui Qin's 19th birthday! We asked her to blanja us a Treat in Babela! We told her that it was her birthday so she is the boss. And the boss shd treat us! Then we started naming what we wanted to eat for dinner. We named pizza, spagetti, Chicken chop, soup, side dishes, drinks, desserts and calculated a total of RMB$300++. And this ger got shocked and tot we are serious to tock her money on her birthday! Hey~ of cuz we dont do that!! We are GF,BF, FF leh! *in case u are wondering what does it mean, GF- Good Fren, BF- Best Fren, FF- Forever fren.* This are what we ate:
3 9-inch pizza(felicia,jasmine and HuiQin),
1 pasta(felicia),
1 chicken chop(qianyu),
1 minestone soup (qianyu)
1 tuna salad(HuiQin),
1 potato wedge set,
1 chicken wing set,
1 onion ring set,
1 greentea smoothie(HuiQin),
1 coffee smoothie(felicia),
1 mango smoothie(jasmine) and
1 lavendar drink(qian yu)...
See~ we can eat that much! =p The whole meal cost RMB$190. Initially, Huiqin paid the bill and got back a RMB$10 change. I told her that im taking the chance and she was like " huh.. cannot la.. give me back." Then i kept it in my purse and then took another RMB $200 to her. I said:" We are treating u. =)* And she got really stunned by what i said. hAha.. This is the 2nd surprise.

The 1st surprise we gave her was on the 27th sep midnight, 12am. This is what happened:
1. All of us acted as if we were super duper tired and went to slp at 10pm.
2. Hui Qin saw all of us wen to slp, she oso followed.
3. Felicia slping in the room with HuiQin, so that she wun suspect anyting from us.
4. Jas and me using our laptop to chat with pple on msn, and tong untill 12am which was 2 hrs away!!
5. We called Felicia at 11.50pm, but no answer. She is slpin soundly!!
6. 11.55pm, Jas and i took out a slice of cake and lighted up the candles.
7. i took the cake and Jas was the video-ing lady.
8. We went into their room at 12am.
Jas and i went into their room. We called Felicia to wake up. But she dun seem to have any reaction. Thus, Jas hitted her. Felicia wake up, looked at us, and went back to her dreamland. This time, Jas, hitted her again. And i called Hui qin before singing a birthday song for her. Both Felicia and Huiqin were half awaken. Hui qin was shocked! After the bday song ended, She blew off the candle and i switched on the lights. Last of all, we presented her a bday card that is made by me *Made In Shanghai de hor.. Mai siao siao ar..*She was so surprised for what we did for her.

Here comes the Typhoon
Have u guys seen the news about the typhoon is coming to Shanghai? And yea.. it did but wasnt as bad as what you heard from the news. By the time when the typhoon got it's way here in Shanghai, it was not as strong as what we always see in a documentary show. Hhaha~
Ytd night was just Cold and windy night. The wind was indeed blowing stronger than usual. While the 4 of us were watching our dvd show at ard 9pm, We can hear that Howling sound of the BIG BIg wind. *HuuUu~ HuuUUuu~* The wind was blowing against our window. And i can see one of the window which was opened was shaking slightly. i was so afraid that it might fly off anytime, So i asked Felicia to closed that window fast. And this stupid ger gt so excited! She did closed it after i told her. But her excitment had caused her to open it the next moment. And she started screaming:" i can feel the wind~!!" Then the other 3 of us all went bonker and shouting together with her. The wind was Strong and was super cold those kind. we were all shivering.*BurRRr* Viewing from our window, we saw pple cycling sengetly (slanting to one side) becuz the strong wind is blowing against them. Super funny!!
Then dunno Who started video-ing, and all of us acting as if we were fliming for some MTV. Wahahaha~!! The Typhoon is actually a harmful disaster, but i dunno y the four of us still happy make a fuss out of it. *The 4 Siao Char Bo ;)*

The Place Of Agreement Is The Place of Power!
My heart is burden and heavy. Things are getting from bad to worse. Confidence lvl for my project is getting lower n lower each time. Am i doing the right thing? Am i going to the right direction? Am i confident to score? I dun want a pass only. Im aiming for A for my MP initially, but now... U may ask me now, "Are u sure u can get it? Do u tink u're too ambitious?" i will tell u im not. Im just having a vision for where im going. A person who dun have vision, doesnt go any where further! I was listening to the April Audio sermon by my Pastor. It stirred me up again. I know it is not enough to be the hearer of the Words but be the doer.
What to do when i dont know what to do? I believe my God will bring me from the place of defeat to the place of Victory! Hallelujah! *Shout Out loud* I will set my heart to seek the Lord in my prayers. I want to seek Him myself, to personal encounter with Him again, like i always do. I want to hear the voice of my heart and not mind. I will think back of what my God has done for me.
A very true story: There was a girl who cant speak eloquently. Her greastest fear is to present any project of hers in front of the whole class. And she remembered clearly that she even shivered while she was presenting one of her project. Yes.. The project was done by her together with her grp members. Her ideas were in the projects. She was very sure of what's her project is abt but becuz she just cant present well and the tutor tot that the project might not be done by her. She scored badly; 6 out of 10 marks while her other members got 9, another 10. That day, she was totally upset and was worried abt the subject PMI. Others tests of this subject she got Bs. She cried out to the Lord and tell the Lord that it is unfair and she want to get what she suppose to get, she want to get out of her fear. Somehow the Lord told her:" if u dare to believe and are willing to work hard, i will turn things bad to good for u." She never give up, keep on working hard. She scored A in e end for her whole project. Imagine 2 tests she got Bs and 1 time got C and for the last lap i guessed she got A. And in e end of the subject, she scored an A. Amazing isnt it?? u ask me how is it possible? im smiling widely.
Why focus on the problems? Focus on the Promises that God has given! I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me! Greater is He who is in me than the world! I should be the head and not the tail, above and not be beneath! No weapons formed against me shall prospered! I will keep my eyes on Jesus! Prayer warrior and not prayer worrier! Strengthen my faith for You are my author and finisher of our faith!
If you have done everything you could, Just Trust The Lord! Stand before the Lord and tell him that u have done ur best. Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the battle is not yours, but God's. (2 Chron 20:15) So STAND STILL! Do not be Shaken! Wait for the Holy Spirit to come after u have done what u could. When things get from bad to worse, you dont expect destruction! Expect Supernatural divine intervention from God! The Holy Spirit, your helper will help and comfort you and shall give u peace.
Last of all, Praise the Lord becuz He will change anything bad around good for my sake! My God is with me~ =)

My FreAk Out Day
Today is my FreAk Out day! Let me tell u what has happened just now. I took the company bus 2 to 张江高科 MRT station. Then I took a train to 南京东路 MRT station to meet Xin Ling. I accompanied her to buy some food for her family and friends as she is going back to Singapore tml. After that, we headed to KFC to have our dinner. I went to the counter and order my meal and requested to have chill sauce. This is how our conversation goes:
Me: 我要辣椒酱。
Cashier: 我们没有辣椒酱，只有番茄酱。
Me: eh… ah… 好的。
The cashier gave me 2 packets of tomato sauce.
Me: 那有没有甜辣酱呢？
The cashier looked at me and said : 没有。要买￥24以上才能拿。
Me: huh? Ok lor..
Then she looked at me again. This time she said: 好啦，给你吧。其实是要买到￥24的。
Me: oh.. ok…
She took away my tomato sauce and changed 1 packet of sweet chilli sauce for me.
I then told what has happened to Xin Ling and she was laughing off her head. 莫名其妙lor!! -.-“
We were talking about the past while we were eating ur meal. Then I told her that I am missing sum1 badly. A very “old” friend of mine. One who etched some sweet old memories in my mind. And then we keep talking about him. She told me that his shoes had my name on it. But I told her that I had his name on my flesh. Tot back of it, is kind of some childish kids doing all these. Wahahah~ I nv tot I will miss this guy so much! Hope he’s doing well alone in Australia. After finish eating, we went to sit in some corner of the park where there are some benches around. One ah Peh came and sat in front of us. At first, everything seems normal. Then the ah peh keep moving his hands and his hands were putting in between of his thighs. When I looked at what he was doing, he showed me his private part! suX!! !@#$%^&*)(*&^%$#@ We were super disgusted by it and quickly went off.
Now, We were heading to 外滩. And then there was one teenage boy came with a small leaflet and wanted me to take it. I did not want to and I siam him. But he was unhappy and he “wei” me and use the leaflet to make my head. Suddenly, I got very irritated by him, Then I scolded him, “F**K U la! The funniest part was when he scolded me back by saying smth like Chee la pa too la chee @#$%^&(^%$#@! And of course I did not let go. I go on by shouting super loud at him, “你安静！！！And everyone ard us turned ard and looked at us. I need to focus here that the crowd in南京东路步行街 is like the crowd in Singapore Orchard road. At that point of time, I have forgotten how to write the word “shameful”. Seriously, I did not scold pple in the public for a long period of time. I felt so funny when I tink it back again.
Can u imagine the 3 Freak situations I had? =)

My Strong Tower, My Refuge
Last week was not my week! My laptop was down last friday and my thumbdrive was lost! My project is inside the thumbdrive and i lost it.. argGg.. It's not all over! I was sick even when im typing this post right now. Last night i had been vomiting and having stomach upset! I took a leave today as i was not feeling well, dont even have the strength to wake up after 5 times vomiting. Staying at home alone was so boring~ BooOoo =( Then i was readin a book given by E402 and i came across a verse, Pro18:10. And in deed there's power in His name! Feeling alot better after that. CheersSs~ =D
